Budding photographer!

The photographer is using Panasonic Lumix GF1 with Panasonic LUMIX G 20mm f/1.7 Aspherical Pancake Lens.  
Mommy is shooting with Canon EOS 6D, and Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens.

I am just amazed that I can focus 33 cm from the subject at 100mm focal length!  
'Snapshootish' mood, window light, overcast.

For the love of film

Found some very old slide film in the lab over a year ago.   Kodak Select made in USA, Rochester NY by Eastman Kodak company, and carries expiration date of 11/2001.  I felt horribly sentimental dumpster diving for it... these roles are the last of their kind.  E6 processed by The Darkroom.

I don't know what to think here, I'll give the darkroom one more chance.

Inspirational artists: Perttu Saksa

Fantastic body of work by a Finn photographer, Perttu Saksa.
I have seen great number of photographs from Pripyat, but no one noticed quite like he did how we embraced the "life giving" energy of radiation, equating it to sun.
