Savory moments indeed!!!!

My memories were traveling around my head, just like karma wheel going round and round and round, but they kept coming back to a wonderful pace – Japan. And so was my cooking for the last few weeks. Today I took a trip to Tokyo, don’t remember the name of the neighborhood, don’t remember the name of a restaurant, but I do remember the tonkatsu! Tonight, when I made dinner I only wished we could procure the pork of the same quality as I had that night.

First Impressions

I'm smiling tonight, my Adana 85 has finally made an impression.
Some might say "Where is the ink?", but I say - hold your horses,
I'm still learning.
Since I'm not big on excessive verbalization I'll get straight to photos.
Please enjoy!!!

The other Media..... Food!!

I’m not a fan of Bobby, but I have to admit I enjoy watching him get his butt kicked on Throwdown With Bobby Flay. I’m sorry Tony… I only cheat on No Reservations three times a week. Once on Monday with Elton, next on Sunday with the chairman of ICA, and once with Bobby. Nevertheless, one of the most recent episodes featured a Brooklyn chef Sohui Kim and her Chinese pork dumpling, which she serves in her restaurant, The Good Fork. Needless to say Bobby’s ass was spanked once again and brought joy to my heart, but the most fun part is that Tito found the recipe and I was able (with his help of course) to make them at home. So with out further ado, allow me to present to you….The Asian Dumplings.

OK, so it's a slow day at work... what better thing to do then start blogging:-))
I have to admit my favorite pass time between "hurry up and wait" experiments is to play with Photoshop...
I had my girl Jamie over last month and night out turned out to be productive, photography wise that is... So this is for my girl, I hope you like it!!!

I think the backdrop was perfect for the titillating conversations....

Now here is where photoshop comes in... Doug Boutwell @ Totally Rad has wonderful actions that I used here, the above is the combo of Rusty Cage and Derelicte.

The mornings are Supper Fun and Happy.
Here is the one I call "these boots are made for walking" (in the singing voice:-))
